Payment Methods

We have bank accounts in New Zealand and Australia, therefore we are able to accept payment by local bank transfer in these countries, saving you the extra fees charged by Paypal. In addition, we may stock our goods in these countries and are able to deliver our products to you by local couriers. In general, we do not deliver products outside New Zealand and Australia because the cost of international courier means it is cheaper for you to purchase identical products elsewhere, e.g. from Official Gargoyle store. The table below summarize the payment methods we accept in the different countries and its respective shipping methods.

Unlike some online shops which requires you to make payment online and do not allow pick-up, we welcome customers to come to see us in person to pick-up the goods. In the process, you are allowed to ask questions and maybe test the product to your satisfaction before you give us your money. If you are not satisfacted with our product on the spot, you are free to change your mind and cancel the purchase. At the same time, we will also provide you with some help or clues on how to use the product in concern. By doing so, we are trying our best to provide a better service than the majority of online shops.

Please note that pick-up is only currently only available in Clayton, Victoria, Australia and East Tamaki Heights, Auckland, New Zealand only. We only accept cash payment for pick-up.

Bank Transfer

The local banks we use in the various countries are listed below. You can make payment into our bank account by electronic funds transfer or cash deposit at the respective bank's local branch with the local currency. Once payment is made, we will be able to confirm payment in about 2 business days and ship the product you ordered in about 3 business days.

For customers outside of the listed countries, we do accept payment in various currencies via Telegraphics Transfer into a specified bank account which we will provide information to you via e-mail. We generally charge $5 extra to cover bank fees for payments made with Telegraphics Transfer.

For those who do not like to pay via bank transfer. We also accept payment by Paypal, which accepts payments from Credit Cards, Debit Cards and Bank Accounts.

Payment made by Paypal also receives Paypal buyer protection, which offers you protection in the event that

  • your item doesn’t reach you;
  • your item is significantly different to the item that was described

Due to Paypal fees, we need to charge you an extra 5% to cover Paypal fees. In addition, the delay in the transfer of funds from Paypal to our bank account means that we also require at least one week to clear your payment before we can ship your product. This means we may not be able to ship your product until almost 2 weeks later and not recommended if you would like to get your product as soon as possible.

For customers who lives outside the countries listed below, upon receiving your order, we will manually issue you a Paypal invoice for you to pay for your goods. For customers who lives in one of the countries listed below, we would be expecting you to make payment via local bank transfer. Though, you do have the option to pay via Paypal if you notify us, so that we can issue you a Paypal invoice.

To ensure that your products arrive at your door safely without delay, we mainly use track and trace, signature required courier service to deliver our products. After your item is shipped, we will provide you with the tracking number by e-mail or you can login to this web site, click on "My account" in the menu on the left and then click Orders, where you will find the tracking number and the courier company used to ship the item you purchased. To track the item, please visit the courier service's web site listed below.

Please note that the signature required courier service we use can only deliver to a physical address and cannot deliver to a PO box. Whatever address you provide, please ensure that someone is there on weekdays to receive and sign off the parcel. If not, you may notify the courier company and provide authority for them to leave the parcel at your door at your own risk. If you don't expect anyone to be home during working hours, it is best that you provide your work address instead.

The approximate price we charge for the delivery is listed below. Actual price charged will vary depending on the quantity purchased and where it is delivered. If you live in one of the countries listed below, you can expect your purchase to be shipped to you by the local courier listed below. If you live in Melbourne, Australia or Auckland, New Zealand; you may also choose to pick-up the product in person and get some hands-on training from us. If you live outside one of the countries listed below, you can expect your purchase to be shipped to you via a reputable international courier company, such as DHL, Fedex, UPS, EMS, etc.

Regardless of what courier service is used, you can have the peace of mind to know that your purchase is generally insured and compensation will be offered if the item is lost or damaged in transit.

Terms of service and warranty*

Physical products

1. All products carry statutory 3 months warranty (or otherwise stated) from the date of purchase.

2. Buyer is responsible for the delivery cost associated with warranty.

3. Repair performed beyond warranty period will carry a service charge.

4. Battery and LCD screen are not covered under warranty, other than DOA, service charge applies.

5. All warranty repair must be notified in writing before returned.

6. All returns (within 7 days) must be in original condition and 10% restocking fee per unit may apply.

7. We have the right to charge for repairs not related manufacturing defects.

8. Product will only ship after full payment is received.


1. All services provided is charged at an hourly rate, which is provided before service is provided.

2. For on-site services, a higher hourly rate is charged for the 1st hour to cover travelling cost and time.

3. Appointement is required for on-site service provided you are located not far from us and someone is available at the time.

4. For remote assistance, it will typically be provided Skype/Gtalk/phone with/without remote desktop assistance.

5. Service is provided as best effort attempt and there is no guarantee that the problem is resolved. Though we will generally let you know in advance if there is a good chance it cannot be resolved.

6. Service is generally limited to configuration related problem, i.e. coding related problems/service is generally not provided.

7. Payment is required and expected right after service is provided.
